The powder silo is for storage of powder materials of a concrete plant for sale. It consists of a dust collector at the top, a pressure valve, a ZXK, a silo body, a maintenance ladder, a dust remover, a flow aiding air cushion, a manual butterfly valve and supporting legs.

The fluidity of powder in the tank is related to the type of material, temperature and storage time. The temperature of the cement just transported is higher, and it is loose after gas transporting. Its capacity e value is about 0.8-1 t/m3, so it is easy to flow. After a period of backlog, its capacity e value can reach 1.6t/m3. Sometimes even higher. This kind of cement with long storage time has poor fluidity and often causes arch phenomenon during unloading.

In order to improve the unloading performance of powder tank, impact device is often installed on the lower cone of silos of a mobile concrete batching plant. The device can destroy the powder arch bridge and make the unloading smooth. At present, arch breaking devices include air blowing arch breaking, hammering arch breaking and air cushion breaking. Air-blown arch breaking means that 3-6 air-blown holes are set at a certain height from the outlet of the warehouse cone for air-blown arch breaking. However, due to the limited contact surface, sometimes the effect is not obvious. At the same time, because of the water content in compressed air, the air nozzle is easily blocked. Hammering arch breaking is to break the arch by hammering the silo body with air hammer. During the hammering process, the noise is high and the wall of the silo is damaged. Flow-assisted air cushion arch breaking is shown in the figure, which is to use the thrust of air cushion to promote arch materials to achieve the role of arch breaking.

Maintenance ladder is mainly used for repairing related equipment on powder tank, such as cleaning filter element of dust collector, repairing material level gauge, pressure safety valve, etc. Before climbing and repairing ladders, safety belts must be fastened, safety hats must be worn, and operations must be carried out in accordance with relevant safety operating rules.

The warehouse body is a hollow container with net catalpa shape outside and cone shape bottom. It is rolled and welded by steel plate. Storehouse must be sealed and rainwater should not be allowed to flow in, otherwise, powder caking will occur in the tank. The supporting leg is the load-bearing part of powder tank, which is generally welded by steel pipe and angle steel or channel copper.
