Concrete mixers can be divided into many confusing types, including large-scale mixers, small mixers, rolling tanks mixers, self-falling mixers, compulsive mixers, horizontal mixers, vertical mixers, portable mixers and so on. Here we would like to introduce the towable concrete mixer.
Generally speaking, a towable concrete mixer refers to a mixer that can be towed conveniently, but the classification is more complicated in practice. Both types of self-falling concrete mixers, JZM and JZC, are equipped with tires for convenience of moving. Self-falling concrete mixers, a type of rolling tank mixers, are also known as free-falling mixing hungers. That is, the mixer of material free falling mode. In a self-propelled mixer, the mixing drum rotates at an appropriate speed. Material is also continuously rotated and mixed in a mixing drum with a mixing blade fixed in it. After the blade continuously raises the material to a certain height, the material falls freely from the blade under the action of self-weight, so that the material is repeatedly stirred to ensure the uniformity of material mixing.
Some concrete batching and mixing plant manufacturers also list small compulsive mixers as towable concrete mixers. Compulsive mixers can be divided into two types: JS and JDC series. JS refers to twin shaft mixer. JS500 and JS750 concrete mixers are regarded as towable because of relatively small discharge capacities (500L, 750L). JDC series include JDC 350 and JDC500. They have an even smaller discharge capacity (350L and 500L respectively). From this perspective all small scale concrete mixers (capacity below 1000) are regarded as towable.
