Small Mobile Concrete Batch Plant

2025-11-27 15:48:32

A small mobile concrete batch plant is a concrete production unit that integrates material storage, weighing, conveying, mixing, unloading, and a fully automated control system into a single trailer unit. Small mobile concrete batching plants typically have a mixing volume of less than 1 cubic meter, making them suitable for small-scale projects and housing construction. Compared to stationary concrete batching plants, small mobile concrete batching plants have a smaller footprint and require less investment, offering advantages such as lower investment and lower risk.

Based on the mixing method, the small mobile concrete batch plants are divided into two types: forced mixing and drum mixing. These two types differ significantly in structure, working principle, applicable scenarios, and performance characteristics. Forced mixing machines achieve thorough mixing of concrete through high-speed rotating blades, resulting in high efficiency and uniform mixing. They account for approximately 70% of the market and are the mainstream product.

1. Forced mixing small mobile concrete batching plant

- Structural characteristics:

Equipped with a forced-mixer (such as a twin-shaft mixer), the forced rotation of the mixing blades causes the material to form complex motion trajectories (such as convection, shearing, and diffusion) within the mixing drum. The mixing drum is usually stationary, with the mixing shaft and blades rotating at high speed to forcibly mix the materials.

- Working principle:

Utilizing the forced action of the mixing blades, it quickly and uniformly mixes concrete raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water, etc.), ensuring stable mixture quality.

Short mixing time (typically 20-30 seconds), high efficiency, suitable for high-strength or special-mix concrete production.

- Applicable scenarios:

High-strength concrete: Projects requiring high-strength concrete, such as bridges and high-rise buildings.

Special-mix concrete: Scenarios requiring precise control of mixing ratios, such as dry-hard concrete and lightweight aggregate concrete.

High efficiency requirements: Occasions requiring rapid and continuous production, such as large construction sites and precast component plants.

- Performance advantages:

High mixing quality: Uniform mixing, no dead zones, good consistency in concrete strength.

High efficiency: High output per unit time, suitable for large-scale construction.

Strong adaptability: Can produce various types of concrete to meet diverse needs.

2. Drum mixer mobile concrete batching plant

- Structural features:

Equipped with a drum mixer; the mixing drum is cylindrical, and the rotation of the drum drives the internal materials to tumble and mix.

Simple structure, convenient maintenance, and low cost.

- Working principle:

The rotating drum causes materials to tumble and mix freely within the drum, achieving uniform mixing through gravity.

The mixing time is relatively long (typically 60-90 seconds), resulting in relatively low efficiency, but it is suitable for producing low-strength concrete.

- Applicable scenarios:

Low-strength concrete: Such as road paving, small-scale construction, and other projects with low concrete strength requirements.

Budget-limited projects: Suitable for construction companies with small initial investments and sensitive to equipment costs.

High mobility requirements: Such as rural construction, temporary construction sites, and other scenarios requiring frequent relocation.

- Performance advantages:

Low cost: Simple equipment structure, low purchase and maintenance costs.

Flexible mobility: Small size and light weight, easy to transport and install.

Easy operation: Low skill requirements for operators, easy to learn.
