There are three tips to follow during operation of pipe of a trailer mounted concrete pump:
First, the operator of the whole trailer concrete pump must keep the pipe operator informed of any starting up and powering off of the pump. The bending radius of the front hose should be longer than than 1 m. Operators are forbidden to stand at the outlet of the hose to avoid injuries from sudden ejections of concrete materials.
Second, the pumping pipeline should be fixed and padded. It is strictly forbidden to bend the hose, which can lead to explosion of the hose. When the pipeline is blocked and pumped after treatment, the end of the soft knot will swing rapidly, concrete may be sprayed instantaneously, and operators should not be near the hose.
Third, operators are forbidden to stand at the corner of a building and hold the hose end, for during the pumping process the hose will shake and the concrete will spray, which may make the operator fall off the building.
Operators of a trailer mounted pump should not have the pump send concrete at the very beginning. They should pump clean water first, check the pipe jams to ensure that the seal does not leak water, and then pump pipeline lubricants (mostly mortar or cement slurry). When the mortar or slurry is about to be finished pumping, concrete of required specifications can be poured into the hopper for normal pressing. If there is blockage in the mortar pressing, the problem can be solved by removing the front section of the piping, taking out the internal dewatering block and reconnecting the pipe properly.
When a concrete pump trailer is running, it is strictly forbidden to put your hand into the hopper and water tank. During the pumping process, concrete material level should be kept above the mixing axis, and it’s forbidden to have the pump running with no fed materials. If the pump is suspended for a long time, you should take measures to prevent concrete condensation in the pipe. The pump should be started every 15-30 minutes, backed up for 1-2 stroke, and then corrected for 1-2 stroke regularly.
