1.8 Emergency Stop Buttons
There are usually three emergency stop buttons in a concrete batching and mixing plant. One is installed at the operating panel in the plant control room, one at either end of the lifting bucket or the belt conveyor, and the last at the mixer.
A. Button in the control room should be pressed when you need to stop all components of a concrete batching plant in case of emergency;
B. Button at the end of the lifting bucket or the belt conveyor is used to stop material conveying in case of emergency;
C. Button at the mixer is used to stop the mixer for emergency.
If you want to lift the button, just turn it and make it jump up.
1.9 Safety Rules in Operation
1. Power Standard
The concrete mixing plant should be supplied with power of 380V, 50HZ and three phase (TN-s).
2. Responsibility of Operator
The operator is responsible for operation of the plant. He or she must have received professional training and should be skillful, calm, clear-minded and sensible.
3. Moving Parts of the Plant
Moving parts of a plant include the concrete mixer machine, the horizontal belt conveyor, the inclined belt conveyor and so on, and operators should keep off these parts in order to protect themselves.
4. Operation and Checking of Control System
A. No running the plant in thundering days when the plant should be completely powered off.
B. Please avoid starting a belt conveyor or a mixer with load.
C. Please keep a back-up copy of production data in other digital storing medium regularly (every one or two month, for example. You can decide according to your own needs.)
D. The measurement precision must be rechecked in case of changes of the sensor.
E. Close the master switch and other circuit breakers in the power cabinet, the door of which should then be closed. Turn the rotary switch and check whether the voltage of each phase is normal.
