According to the types of aggregate conveying devices, there are bucket mixing plants and belt type concrete batching plants. The stationary models for the former include HZS25, hzs35, HZS50 and hzs60, while the latter HZS75, hzs90, HZS120, and HZS180. Theoretically speaking, all models of mobile concrete mixing plants are of belt type, unless the configuration is unusually simple. But normally a belt type plant refers to a stationary one.
As mentioned above, the capacity of a belt type plant is usually bigger than a bucket plant. The belt type concrete batching plant uses the aggregate belt conveyor to transport the aggregate horizontally or inclinedly, widely used in the construction of large-scale commercial mixing stations. The belt conveyor transports weighed aggregates to the transition hopper. The design of the belt conveyor mixing station equipment takes protection of the conveyor into account so that it can work under all-weather conditions high efficiently and continuously. However, it cannot recharge itself, and other conveying devices should be used to centrally store the aggregates so that they fall on the belt under their own weight. Then the aggregates are delivered to the concrete mixer nearby and get mixed with powder and liquid materials which have also been weighed.
Although a belt type concrete batching plant is more efficient in aggregate conveying and concrete mixing, it does not make sense that all plants should be equipped with a belt conveyor. Whether you should buy a belt plant depends on the total and hourly amount of ready mix concrete you need. Sometimes an HZS75 plant can be equipped with a bucket conveying system as long as it meets the requirement in practical productivity, which is a good way to save cost. Therefore, you should communicate thoroughly with your supplier and ask them to design the most cost efficient configuration for you.
