The pumping system plays an important role in normal operation of a concrete pump. Habitual checking of the system helps to guarantee smooth operation of a trailer mounted concrete pump. Generally speaking, regular checking includes gaps, wearing states, sealing, lubricating and cooling of relative parts.

Specifically speaking, you should follow eight steps in checking the pumping system of a trailer mounted pump.

1. The piston to bore clearance should be in accordance with technological requirements.

2. The adjustable clearance between distributing valves and wear plates must meet technical requirements and ensure strong fast pumping and return.

3. Abrasion loss of the cutting loop can not exceed that is said in the instruction manual, excessively worn loops must be replaced in time.

4. It’s critical to make the trailer concrete pump to operate without load for a period of time, during which the operator should observe indicated values of instruments and make sure that everything is all right. Besides, around 10 liters of clean water and 0.3 cubic meters of cement mortar should be fed first into the hopper to lubricate the pipe and the whole pumping system.

5. The pump should be complete in parts and sealed in pipes.

6. No abnormal noise should exist in the pumping pump or oil pump and no turbidity should be found with water or oil.

7. The cooling system must run well as said in the instruction manual.

8. The pipe should be protected with wet bags in hot summer and thick covers in cold winter.

Like any other large scale machines, a trailer mounted concrete pump must be maintained regularly. Only under this condition can it work smoothly and bring in considerable profits.
