Working principle of a cement pump trailer

The working principle of a cement pump trailer is not so complicated as you might think. Its just like a process of taking shot. The doctor uses a needle injector to suck liquid in and then push it out into your body. A cement pump trailer works similarly. Concrete are taken into the tank and then sent out to the target point along the delivery pipe. Two concrete cylinders work alternately between pumping and sending. First of all, it is necessary to feed the material into the mixing tank driven by the motor drive, and the mixed concrete is poured into the hopper. The material in the hopper then enters the conveying cylinder. Powered by the hydraulic system, the conveying system drives both cylinders to pump in and send out the concrete.

The cement pump trailer is composed of a professional equipment which combines concrete mixing and pumping. Component structures mainly include the hydraulic system, the control mechanism, mixing devices, the reducer, the cleaning system and so on. The working principle is to drive the variable pump of the hydraulic system by taking out the power of the engine. The mechanical energy is transformed into the hydraulic energy and transmitted to the motor which drives the reducer which further drives the mixing drum device to mix the tank concrete, and then the concrete is pumped by the conveying system.

Mixing drum is the loading container of concrete. In the process of feeding and transportation, the mixing drum is rotating, and concrete moves inward along the blade. When discharging, the mixing drum reverses and concrete is discharged outward along the blade. Generally speaking, as long as it is used reasonably and maintained regularly, a cement pump trailer will not fail.
