Water and Solid Storage Systems for a Concrete Batching Plant

This part introduces liquid and solid storage systems for a concrete batching plant, including water tank, additive tank, aggregate waiting hopper and unloading hopper.

Water Tank

The water tank functions to store water for concrete production. It is usually built during the installation of concrete batching systems. The water supply type and the tank volume are designed in advance based on the site state.

Aggregate Waiting Hopper

Aggregate waiting hopper is a transition hopper that acts as a temporary storage aggregate. It shortens the working cycle time of the concrete plant near me and guarantees efficiency of a belt type concrete batching plant. The aggregate waiting hopper consists of hopper cover (1), dust-proof curtain (2), hopper body (3), vibrator (4), outlet door (5) and cylinder (6), as shown in the picture. Because aggregates will have a strong impact when they enters the hopper, the inner part of the hopper body 3 is often lined with removable lining board or other wear-resistant mechanism; dust curtain 2 uses the dust-reducing aggregate to raise outside the hopper to reduce the dust in the hopper. After the hopper door 5 is opened by the pneumatic Engineer 6, the vibrator delays action and the aggregate in the hopper is quickly discharged.

The Unloading Hopper

The unloading hopper is a transitional hopper in front of the concrete mixer after the finished concrete material is unloaded from the mixer. It has played a temporary role in the storage of finished materials, playing a buffer role for the mixer, and can make the finished materials in the mixer unloaded as soon as possible. It consists of bucket body 1, wear-resistant liner 2, clamp 3, rubber pipe 4, etc., as shown in the following figure.
