An automatic control mobile concrete batching plant has a capacity of 25m3 to 75m3, equipped with an automatic control system and a frame with wheels. It’s named in comparison to simple mobile concrete mixing plants of semi-automatic or even manual control systems. These plants consist of a concrete mixer and a batching machine. With a manually controlled plant the mixer is usually of drum (self-falling) type, and with a semi-automatic plant it’s JS or planetary type. These plants are lower in cost but less efficient.

Plants with a trailer-mounted chassis has only the rear axle, and the front end is placed on the saddle bridge of the tractor. The difference between the two types of automatic mobile concrete plants is that a special trailer is required for mobile operations of the trailer type.
