With sharp drop in temperature, some concrete pump truck components, including water tanks, oil tanks, gears, speed reducers and switchers must be maintained carefully. To maintain a truck mounted concrete pump reasonably, you must follow tips as below.
1. Protect water tanks from ices. After a round of pumping task in winter, the operator should outlet the water tank completely, otherwise water left in the tank would become larger ice and damages the tank.
2. Refill the engine oil in time. At low temperatures the viscosity of oil engines gets bigger and mobility smaller, which causes difficulty in starting of the internal combustion engine of a truck mounted concrete pump for sale. The engine oil must be replaced every 500 working hours.
3. At low temperatures the oil will become greasy and affect the friction effect. The operator should pay attention to the replacement of grease and gear oil. Transmissions, reducers and steering gears should be treated with winter gear oil, and the hub bearing should be replaced with low drop point grease.
4. Prepare antifreeze in advance. Antifreeze will not freeze and should be filled into the cooling system before the temperature becomes lower. Before the antifreeze solution is added, the engine cooling system must be carefully cleaned to prevent the original scale in the engine cooling system from coming off after contact with the antifreeze solution, which will make the antifreeze liquid cloudy, thickened, even discolored and tastes, and the water pipe gets blocked when it is severe. The water channel or sediment is in the bend joint of the lower part of the water tank, which causes poor heat dissipation and the antifreeze cannot circulate, causing the engine temperature to be too high.
